Ending a tenancy during a fixed term
The tenancy agreement should say how much notice you need to give before you can leave the property.
Tenants are responsible for paying rent for their entire fixed-term tenancy.
They can move out early without paying rent for the full tenancy if:
there is a break clause in their tenancy agreement; Some tenancies may contain a clause which has specific terms to initiate.
you agree to ending the tenancy early; we can agree to ending a tenancy early subject to finding a suitable replacement for your tenancy, this can involve you finding a suitable alternate qualified applicant. Alternately we can act to assist to find a replacement.
* both of these will have financial implications for costs.
